After a month of planning, a friend and I successfully executed the first Bezalel Exhibition at Comenius School for Creative Leadership. The goal was to create a platform where visual artists and designers can express themselves and showcase their unique talents.

There was no age limit, or qualifying skill level. After many announcements and over fifty posters, 30 exhibitors including Graffiti Artists, Cake Crafters, Calligraphers, Fashion Designers, Illustrators, Graphic Designers, etc boldly came forward.

It was exciting to see all the talent that was about to be displayed. As we began collecting pieces, my friend and I constantly gasped in awe. We were especially excited that people were finally showing their creative side.

I consider this an adventure because I learned many lessons during this process and had to overcome certain fears. I was challenged to speak to people I had never spoken to, rely on people for help in areas I am not strong in, and keep pushing despite the future looking uncerain.

I have enjoyed this adventure and I am looking forward to many more events like this where creative minds are given the opportunity to express themselves with little to no restriction.
